This Creator & Influencer Code of Conduct (“Code”) establishes the professional, ethical, and behavioral standards expected from all creators, influencers, content publishers, agencies, and users (“Creators”) using the Thayyal platform.
Thayyal is committed to building a trusted, transparent, professional, and safe influencer ecosystem for businesses, creators, audiences, and platform partners.
This Code applies to:
- Influencers
- Content creators
- Agencies
- Brand ambassadors
- Businesses collaborating with creators
- All platform users interacting with creators
Violations of this Code may result in:
- Warnings
- Content removal
- Payment holds
- Campaign restrictions
- Account suspension
- Permanent termination
- Legal action where applicable
PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR
Creators using Thayyal must:
- Act honestly, ethically, and professionally
- Treat all users respectfully
- Maintain integrity in communications and collaborations
- Comply with all platform rules and applicable laws
- Avoid harassment, abuse, hate speech, or discrimination
- Respect cultural, racial, religious, and gender diversity
- Communicate professionally with businesses and platform staff
Creators must not:
- Threaten or intimidate others
- Use offensive or defamatory language
- Engage in bullying or harassment
- Impersonate individuals or organizations
- Misrepresent identity or qualifications
Professional conduct is mandatory across:
- Messages
- Campaign submissions
- Profile content
- Social media interactions
- Reviews and feedback
AUTHENTICITY & TRUST
Creators must maintain authentic social media presence and audience engagement.
Creators must NOT:
- Purchase fake followers
- Buy fake likes, comments, views, or subscribers
- Use bots or automated engagement systems
- Manipulate analytics data
- Use deceptive audience growth methods
- Create fake engagement pods or click farms
Thayyal may use:
- API analytics verification
- Fraud detection systems
- Audience quality checks
- Engagement authenticity analysis
Accounts suspected of manipulation may be suspended immediately. Fake engagement practices are strictly prohibited.
CONTENT STANDARDS
Creators are responsible for all content published through campaigns or platform activities.
Content must NOT:
- Violate laws or regulations
- Infringe copyrights or trademarks
- Promote illegal activities
- Include hate speech or discrimination
- Spread misinformation or deceptive claims
- Contain malicious links or harmful software
- Include explicit illegal content
- Promote scams, fraud, or misleading financial schemes
Creators must ensure:
- Content is original or properly licensed
- Brand claims are truthful
- Sponsored content disclosures are included where required
Creators must comply with:
- FTC endorsement guidelines
- Local advertising laws
- Platform disclosure rules (#Ad, #Sponsored, etc.)
PLATFORM COMMUNICATION
To maintain safety and transparency:
Creators must:
- Communicate respectfully
- Use official platform communication systems where required
- Provide accurate information during collaborations
Creators must NOT:
- Abuse messaging systems
- Send spam or unsolicited promotions
- Share malicious files or links
- Attempt to scam businesses or other creators
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
Off-platform payment or communication requests intended to bypass platform protections may result in penalties.
CAMPAIGN RESPONSIBILITIES
Creators accepting campaigns agree to:
- Deliver agreed work within deadlines
- Follow campaign briefs professionally
- Submit authentic deliverables
- Maintain quality standards
- Respond to campaign communications promptly
Creators must NOT:
- Accept campaigns they cannot complete
- Submit plagiarized work
- Reuse restricted campaign content without permission
- Mislead businesses regarding deliverables
Repeated cancellations, delays, or poor-quality submissions may affect account standing.
PAYMENTS & ESCROW ETHICS
Creators must:
- Respect escrow and payment systems
- Deliver agreed work before requesting payouts
- Avoid payment manipulation or fraud
Creators must NOT:
- Request off-platform payments
- Attempt to bypass platform fees
- Engage in money laundering or suspicious financial activity
- Abuse refund or dispute systems
Payment abuse may lead to permanent account restrictions.
CONFIDENTIALITY & DATA PROTECTION
Creators must:
- Respect confidential campaign information
- Protect business-sensitive materials
- Avoid unauthorized sharing of private communications
- Handle personal data responsibly
Creators must NOT:
- Leak campaign details without permission
- Share confidential brand strategies
- Misuse personal information
- Violate privacy laws
All users must comply with:
- GDPR
- CCPA/CPRA
- India DPDP Act
- Applicable data protection regulations
ACCOUNT SECURITY
Creators are responsible for:
- Maintaining secure passwords
- Protecting account access
- Updating account information accurately
Creators must NOT:
- Share accounts
- Sell or transfer accounts
- Create multiple deceptive accounts
- Circumvent platform restrictions
Fraudulent identity practices may result in permanent suspension.
COMMUNITY SAFETY
Thayyal aims to maintain a safe creator ecosystem.
Creators must NOT engage in:
- Harassment
- Extremism
- Violence promotion
- Dangerous challenges
- Exploitative content
- Coordinated manipulation campaigns
- Abuse toward platform staff or users
Safety violations are treated seriously and may result in immediate removal.
PLATFORM INTEGRITY
Creators must not:
- Manipulate platform rankings
- Abuse referral systems
- Generate fake reviews or testimonials
- Use automation to exploit platform systems
- Attempt to bypass verification systems
Maintaining trust is critical to the Thayyal ecosystem.
REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Users may report:
- Fraudulent creators
- Fake engagement
- Harassment
- Policy violations
- Scam attempts
- Intellectual property abuse

ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
